St. John Bosco School Welcomes all Students!
Come into our school and witness the ways our Pope Francis is leaving his prints on all of us. Each month our school will focus on a different Fruit of the Holy Spirit, and live our lives the way our Holy Father, Pope Francis, might himself.

Welcome to St. John Bosco Catholic School, located in beautiful Barry’s Bay, Ontario. We are an inclusive Catholic educational community serving the needs of approximately 165 students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Our dedicated team of educators use a variety of technologies and materials (including interactive white boards and tablet computers) to provide for the different instructional needs of all learners.
We are very proud of our school and know you will enjoy this journey with your child. People often comment that they sense something special when they enter our school. We strive to treat each other with respect and kindness. Prayer is an integral part of every school day, and we are proud to have our two parish priests as frequent visitors to our classrooms, and continually promote the special relationship between the home, school and parish. We fully support and implement restorative practices throughout our school. Our Catholic school provides a faith-based moral framework to deal with a wide spectrum of life issues including relationships, poverty, peace and justice. We strive to integrate this framework into all areas of the curriculum. To our students, strive to do your best at all times and remember to be good to each other
Saint John Bosco, pray for us.
